JavaBotics

Our online JavaBotics camp provides students with the opportunity to learn Java, even if they have limited or no prior experience. Participants can also learn insider tips from an FTC programmer and connect with other individuals in the robotics community. We strive to create an inclusive and encouraging environment for girls to explore the world of robotics and learn new skills.

Key Pillars

Java Fundamentals

The JavaBotics Summer Camp provides an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Java programming and coding, even for those with no or low experience. It is also great for seasoned programmers who wish to brush up on the basics. The camp will provide hands-on, interactive activities that teach the fundamentals of Java programming.

FTC-based Java

The participants can hone their newly-learned Java skills by learning specific niches needed for the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) competition Java coding. Through the JavaBotics Summer Camp, they build their own vision software and understand the deep connection programming and robotics has in FTC.

Realistic Approach

Our program offers a very realistic approach to learning robotics, with minimal but mentally challenging homework so that all of the material stays within the participants' grasp. We ensure that each camper has the opportunity to explore the world of programming and build their skills in a supportive environment without feeling overwhelmed.
